CPD Clause Samples

The CPD (Continuing Professional Development) clause requires individuals or organizations to engage in ongoing learning and skill enhancement relevant to their profession. Typically, this clause outlines the minimum number of training hours, courses, or activities that must be completed within a set period, and may require documentation or proof of participation. Its core function is to ensure that professionals remain up-to-date with industry standards and best practices, thereby maintaining competence and compliance in their field.
CPD. Administration of Professional Development funds via a relevant departmental committee consistent with the terms and conditions of similar committees existing within the District. Proposed terms of reference and training and development committee roles attached as appendix A. Commencement of managing the funds would be 1 July 2017, with formation of the group to occur by 1 May 2017. Funding will be as per the current budgeted professional development fund for this group. Final approval of spending will remain with the manager and Business Leader. There is no offer to increase the existing funds available for Professional Development.
CPD. You are responsible for complying with your own CPD obligations and requirements. It is your responsibility to manage your CPD points and retain all records of the Services we provide to you, including course certificates. We are not responsible for assisting you to manage or comply with your CPD obligations.
CPD. The AoC Sport and CASES agree to deliver collaborative professional development events (e.g., webinar, workshop) to accompany any relevant research or professional practice areas co- ordinated by the respective CPD officers or other appropriate representatives from each organisation.
CPD. We also recognise the importance of continued professional development (CPD). To this end, we offer the opportunity to top up an HND to a degree within a highly flexible framework of part‐time, work‐based learning through our Scottish Centre for Work Based Learning and a wide range of courses and specialist training, including professional accreditation. The Scottish Centre for Work Based Learning works with organisations to develop bespoke programmes of study which relates directly the goals and needs of the workplace and supports our development of Business Academies.
CPD. For this seminar, the following CPD points are available under the CPD scheme of the relevant national actuarial association:
CPD. The BPS and BASES recognise the importance of evidence-based practice in the development of sport and exercise psychology interventions and the evaluation of their effectiveness. Both associations share the common goals of ensuring that individuals, teams and organisations receive best practice in the provision of psychological services in sport and exercise settings. To further this aim, BASES and the BPS will collaborate in supporting the profession through joint continuous professional development opportunities, such as webinars and events.

  • TEXT MESSAGING WHILE DRIVING In accordance with Executive Order (EO) 13513, “Federal Leadership on Reducing Text Messaging While Driving,” any and all text messaging by Federal employees is banned: a) while driving a Government owned vehicle (GOV) or driving a privately owned vehicle (POV) while on official Government business; or b) using any electronic equipment supplied by the Government when driving any vehicle at any time. All cooperators, their employees, volunteers, and contractors are encouraged to adopt and enforce policies that ban text messaging when driving company owned, leased or rented vehicles, POVs or GOVs when driving while on official Government business or when performing any work for or on behalf of the Government.

  • COVID-19 Employees of Contractor and/or persons working on its behalf, including, but not limited to, subcontractors (collectively, “Contractor Personnel”), while performing services under this Agreement and prior to interacting in person with City employees, contractors, volunteers, or members of the public (collectively, “In-Person Services”) must be fully vaccinated against the novel coronavirus 2019 (“COVID-19”). “Fully vaccinated” means that 14 or more days have passed since Contractor Personnel have received the final dose of a two-dose COVID-19 vaccine series (Moderna or Pfizer-BioNTech) or a single dose of a one-dose COVID-19 vaccine (▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ & ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇/▇▇▇▇▇▇▇) and all booster doses recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Prior to assigning Contractor Personnel to perform In-Person Services, Contractor shall obtain proof that such Contractor Personnel have been fully vaccinated. Contractor shall retain such proof for the document retention period set forth in this Agreement. Contractor shall grant medical or religious exemptions (“Exemptions”) to Contractor Personnel as required by law. If Contractor wishes to assign Contractor Personnel with Exemptions to perform In- Person Services, Contractor shall require such Contractor Personnel to undergo weekly COVID-19 testing, with the full cost of testing to be borne by Contractor. If Contractor Personnel test positive, they shall not be assigned to perform In-Person Services or, to the extent they have already been performing In-Person Services, shall be immediately removed from those assignments. Furthermore, Contractor shall immediately notify City if Contractor Personnel performing In-Person Services (1) have tested positive for or have been diagnosed with COVID-19, (2) have been informed by a medical professional that they are likely to have COVID-19, or (3) meet the criteria for isolation under applicable government orders.
