Curb Cuts Sample Clauses

The 'Curb Cuts' clause requires the installation or maintenance of sloped transitions between sidewalks and roadways to ensure accessibility for individuals using wheelchairs, strollers, or other mobility devices. Typically, this clause specifies the standards for the design, placement, and dimensions of curb cuts, often referencing compliance with local accessibility codes or the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Its core function is to remove physical barriers at street crossings, thereby promoting safe and equal access for all pedestrians, particularly those with mobility challenges.
