Current assignment Sample Clauses

The "Current assignment" clause establishes the immediate transfer of rights, interests, or obligations from one party to another as of the present moment. In practice, this clause is used to ensure that any intellectual property, contractual rights, or other specified assets are automatically assigned to the receiving party upon execution of the agreement, without requiring further action. Its core function is to provide legal certainty and clarity regarding ownership or responsibility, thereby preventing disputes over whether and when an assignment has taken place.
