CWS and Fixed Shift Employees Sample Clauses
The 'CWS and Fixed Shift Employees' clause defines the terms and conditions that apply specifically to employees working under a Compressed Work Schedule (CWS) or on fixed shifts. It typically outlines how work hours, scheduling, and overtime are managed for these employees, distinguishing their arrangements from those on flexible or variable schedules. For example, it may specify that CWS employees work longer days but fewer days per pay period, or that fixed shift employees have set start and end times each day. The core function of this clause is to ensure clarity and consistency in scheduling and compensation practices for employees with non-standard work arrangements, thereby reducing confusion and potential disputes.
