Daily Compensation. Work in excess of twelve (12) hours on a given day shall be compensated at the rate of two (2) times the employee’s regular rate of pay. For employees working eight (8) or ten (10) hour shifts, work beyond the employee’s normal scheduled shift of eight or ten hours shall be compensated at the rate of one and one-half (1 1/2) times the employee’s regular rate of pay.
Daily Compensation. Beginning the first pay period starting on or after the 21st day following ratification of this Agreement by the Union, work on a given day, beyond an employee’s normal scheduled shift of eight, ten, or twelve hours, shall be compensated at the rate of one and one-half (1 1/2) times the employee’s regular rate of pay and work in excess of four (4) hours beyond an employee’s normal scheduled shift shall be compensated at the rate of two (2) times the employee’s regular rate of pay, unless the hours worked beyond the scheduled shift are worked voluntarily at straight time rates.
