Common use of Daylight Saving Time Clause in Contracts

Daylight Saving Time. The following shall apply when changing from Mountain Standard Time to Mountain Daylight Time and vice versa. (a) When the springtime change occurs, employees who work a full shift commencing between 2200 hours Saturday and 0100 hours Sunday, shall be paid for a regular shift. (b) When the fall time change occurs, employees who work a full shift commencing between 2200 hours Saturday and 0100 hours Sunday, shall be paid for a regular shift plus one (1) hour double time. 116.09 Notwithstanding Article 116.03 and 116.04, in the event that training courses scheduled during the normal working day extend beyond the normal working day the employee shall be paid at straight time pay for each such additional hour associated with the training course beyond the normal working day.
