DAYS OFF – SCHEDULING, POSTING. ‌ 19.01 Schedules shall be posted in the Power Generation Station not later than 1500h Thursday each week showing the crews for the following week. If any changes are made to the schedule thereafter, the Company will attempt to notify the employees affected. Such schedules shall show the day or days off for each employee. 19.02 When an employee wishes to change their scheduled or designated days off, they will notify their Supervisor at least twenty-four (24) hours in advance and if such a change is mutually agreed upon by the employee and their Supervisor, then the employee will work at straight time rates on the day or days originally scheduled as their scheduled or recognized days off. If they are required to work on the alternate days, mutually agreed upon as their days off, they shall be paid at the overtime rate. 19.03 In the event of a major breakdown, an employee may be required to work on their scheduled or designated day or days off for which they will be paid at straight time rates provided they have been given at least twenty-four (24) hours advance notice and granted another day or days off as mutually agreed upon for which they will be paid at the overtime rate if required to work on these days. 19.04 Any worker called in on Sunday who works eight (8) hours or more and was not scheduled to work on that day, shall not have to take a designated day off during the week, and shall work on their 5th scheduled working day at time and one-half (1.5) if they so desire. (a) If a relief employee works a twelve (12) hour shift on Sunday, they may be scheduled to work two (2) more twelve (12) hour shifts during the week to complete their week at straight time. (b) If a relief employee works a twelve (12) hour shift Sunday and less than two (2) twelve (12) hour shifts during the week, they will work the other days at straight time.

  • Self Scheduling The Home and the Union may agree to implement a self-scheduling process. Self-scheduling is the mechanism by which employees in a Home create their own work schedules. The purpose of self scheduling is to improve job satisfaction and quality of work life for the participating employees. Self scheduling requires a collaboration of employees and management to ensure proper coverage of the Home and to meet the provisions of the Collective Agreement. It is agreed that self scheduling will be negotiated locally by the Home and the Union and will include a trial period. Each Home must have the majority agreement of the full-time and part-time employees who vote on the issue to agree on a trial period of up to six months. Once the trial period is complete, each Home must have a minimum of 66⅔% agreement of the full-time and part-time employees who vote on the issue to continue with the new schedule on a permanent basis.

  • Work Scheduling Except at the request of an affected employee, no employee shall have the number of hours they are normally scheduled to work reduced as the result of the use of non-permanent employees such as, but not limited to: seasonal, intermittent, student interns, interns, interim, established term, or temporary employees, due to the performance of such employee’s duties by the nonpermanent employee.

  • Downtime Each of Zero Hash and ZHLS uses commercially reasonable efforts to provide the Services in a reliable and secure manner. From time to time, interruptions, errors, delays, or other deficiencies in providing the Services may occur due to a variety of factors, some of which are outside of Zero Hash’s and/or ZHLS’ control, and some which may require or result in scheduled maintenance or unscheduled downtime of the Services (collectively, “Downtime”). You understand and acknowledge that part or all of the Services may be unavailable during any such period of Downtime, and you acknowledge that Zero Hash and ZHLS are not liable or responsible to you for any inconvenience or losses to you as a result of Downtime. Following Downtime, you further understand and acknowledge that the prevailing market prices of cryptocurrency may differ significantly from the prices prior to such Downtime.

  • Scheduling Vacations Vacations are to be scheduled in advance and taken at such reasonable times as approved by the employee's department with particular regard to the needs of the Employer, seniority of employee, and, insofar as practicable, with regard to the wishes of the employee. No vacation shall be assigned by the Employer or deducted from the employee's account as disciplinary action.

  • Maintenance Scheduling The NTO shall schedule maintenance of its facilities designated as NTO Transmission Facilities Under ISO Operational Control and schedule any outages (other than forced transmission outages) of said transmission system facilities in accordance with outage schedules approved by the ISO. The NTO shall comply with maintenance schedules coordinated by the ISO, pursuant to this Agreement, for NTO Transmission Facilities Under ISO Operational Control. The NTO shall be responsible for providing notification of maintenance schedules to the ISO for NTO Transmission Facilities Requiring ISO Notification. The NTO shall provide notification of maintenance schedules to affected Transmission Owners for NTO Transmission Facilities Requiring ISO Notification and Local Area Transmission Facilities pursuant to Section 3.5.3 of the ISO Services Tariff.
