Definition of Overtime Work. Overtime work is work performed by an employee of the City in excess of regularly scheduled hours, or on a holiday as defined in Article V, Section B, or at times other than those normally required for his or her employment, except as follows: A. Solid Waste Personnel Overtime work for solid waste personnel is work performed that exceeds forty (40) hours per week. B. Part-time Personnel Overtime for part-time personnel is work in excess of forty (40) hours per week, ten (10) hours per day, work on holidays, or added hours as outlined in Article VIII, Section I.2.
