Definitions and Standards Sample Clauses
The "Definitions and Standards" clause establishes the specific meanings of key terms and sets the benchmarks or criteria that will govern the interpretation and performance of the contract. In practice, this clause lists important words or phrases used throughout the agreement and clarifies their intended definitions, while also referencing any industry standards, legal requirements, or technical specifications that must be met. By doing so, it ensures all parties have a shared understanding of terminology and expectations, reducing ambiguity and minimizing the risk of disputes over interpretation.
