Department Policies and Procedures. In the administration of this Contract, the Provider Agency shall comply with all applicable policies and procedures issued by the Department including, but not limited to, the policies and procedures contained in the Department's Contract Reimbursement Manual (as from time to time amended) and the Department's Contract Policy and Information Manual (as from time to time amended). Failure to comply with these policies and procedures shall be grounds to terminate this Contract.
Department Policies and Procedures. The Contractor shall comply with the applicable policies and procedures of the Department, specifically including without limitation the policies and procedures for MCO services, and all policies and procedures applicable to each category of Covered Services as required by the terms of this Contract. In no instance may the limitations or exclusions imposed by the Contractor with respect to Covered Services be more stringent than those specified in the applicable Department’s policies and procedures without the approval of the Department. The Department shall provide reasonable prior written notice to Contractor of any material changes to its policies and procedures, or any changes to its policies and procedures that materially alter the terms of this Contract.

Department Policies and Procedures. 12.1 New police policies or procedures, or revisions to existing policies or procedures, may not be implemented until after the Police Chief has reviewed, authorized their implementation and posted to the online policy manual. The official policy copy will be maintained in the online policy manual. 12.2 The Police Chief shall provide notice to the Guild of all proposed policy modifications. The Chief shall provide adequate time for input by the Guild and shall consider such input prior to adoption and implementation of the modifications.

In the event of a conflict between Department policies and procedures and 24 CFR 570, the Department, in its discretion, shall determine which Department policies and procedures or parts of Department policies and procedures apply.

These policies and procedures shall serve to guide employee behavior in relationships to other employees, Offenders and the public.

Each new or revised policy, procedure, or guideline written shall be provided to the Union at least 15 days prior to its scheduled implementation. C. If a new or revised policy, procedure, or guideline materially impacts any matter within the scope of representation, the parties agree to promptly meet and confer upon the request of the Union. D. Notice of the Union’s desire to meet and confer shall be made within the 15-day period. E. During the meet and confer process, the parties will attempt to reach a mutually acceptable resolution of any disputed item. F. Failure to reach an agreement on any matter within scope shall result in the matter being referred to the City’s impasse procedure.
Department Policies and Procedures. 11.1 The contract between the Department and the Prime Contractor for construction of the Project shall include the following provisions: (1) All persons who perform labor in the execution of a construction contract shall be paid the prevailing rate of wages applicable to the classification as provided in The California Department of Industrial Relations Determinations. (2) Prime Contractor shall provide information concerning its experience, including proof of a current State Contractor’s License, Business Tax Registration Certificate, and ability to perform said contract. 11.2 In addition to the above requirements, the Contractors and Unions understand and agree that the construction contract shall be awarded in accordance with other applicable provisions of the California Public Contracts Code and the Long Beach City Charter (“Charter”).
