Deployment License Clause Samples

A Deployment License clause grants the licensee the right to install, use, and operate the licensed software or technology in a specific environment or for a particular purpose. This clause typically outlines the scope of deployment, such as the number of permitted installations, geographic limitations, or the types of systems on which the software can be deployed. By clearly defining these parameters, the clause ensures both parties understand the extent of permissible use, thereby preventing unauthorized distribution and protecting the licensor’s intellectual property rights.
