Details required. The Merchant must ensure that the Records for all Debit Card Transactions (whether the Transaction is accepted or declined) contain the following minimum information: (a) the Merchant’s business name and location; (b) the type and general location of the Terminal or a symbol identifying the Terminal; (c) date and time of the Transaction; (d) whether the Cardholder selected the cheque or savings account; (e) information that enables the Merchant to identify the Transaction; (f) type of Transaction, e.g., ‘purchase’; (g) amount of the Transaction; and (h) if the Card has an expiry date, the Card expiry date.
