DISCLOSURE AND DISCOVERY Sample Clauses

The DISCLOSURE AND DISCOVERY clause establishes the procedures and obligations for parties to share relevant information and evidence during a legal proceeding. Typically, this clause outlines what types of documents, data, or testimony must be exchanged, sets deadlines for these exchanges, and may specify methods for requesting or objecting to certain disclosures. Its core practical function is to ensure transparency and fairness by allowing both sides access to the information necessary to prepare their cases, thereby preventing surprises and promoting an equitable resolution of disputes.
