Duration of Warranty Clause Samples

The 'Duration of Warranty' clause defines the specific time period during which the warranty provided by the seller or manufacturer remains in effect. This clause typically states the start and end dates of the warranty, such as beginning on the date of purchase and lasting for one year, or it may specify a different trigger event and duration. By clearly outlining how long the warranty coverage applies, this clause ensures both parties understand their rights and obligations regarding repairs, replacements, or service, thereby preventing disputes over expired warranties and providing certainty about the coverage period.
