Effect of Leave on Seniority. An approved leave shall not be considered a break in continuous service;provided, however, that seniority shall continue to accrue only during (a) paid leaves, and (b) unpaid leaves of less than two (2) weeks'duration (except legitimate unpaid sick leave).
Effect of Leave on Seniority. Unless provided for otherwise in this Agreement or properly executed Memoranda of Agreements, employees on full or part-time unpaid leaves will retain seniority earned prior to such leaves but shall not earn seniority for the period of such leaves. Employees on full or part-time paid leaves shall continue to earn seniority for the period of such leaves. In the event of layoff and two or more employees have equal seniority, the employee with the earliest date of hire as a continuous bargaining unit employee shall be considered more senior.
Effect of Leave on Seniority. An Employee who accepts employment elsewhere ---------------------------- while on personal leave of absence from his/her Employer shall forfeit his/her seniority rights and he/she shall be considered as a voluntary quit. When a personal leave of absence is granted to an Employee by the Employer, written notice shall be given to evidence such an arrangement. The Employer will abide by the provisions of the Selective Service Act as amended and interpreted or other applicable legislation governing reinstatement rights of Employees entering service under such legislation.
Effect of Leave on Seniority. If the employee returns from the leave of absence within one (1) calendar year following the beginning of the leave, s/he will retain the seniority earned prior to the leave.

  • Revocation and Effect of Consents, Waivers and Actions Until an amendment, waiver or other action by Holders becomes effective, a consent thereto by a Holder of a Security hereunder is a continuing consent by the Holder and every subsequent Holder of that Security or portion of the Security that evidences the same obligation as the consenting Holder's Security, even if notation of the consent, waiver or action is not made on the Security.   • Effect of Absence Where any leave of absence without pay exceeds thirty (30) continuous calendar days, the following shall apply: (a) The Employer shall pay its share of the health and welfare benefits for the calendar month in which the leave commences and in the month immediately following.   • Continuing Effect of Agreement Except as amended by this Amendment, all provisions of the Agreement shall remain unchanged and in full force and effect. From and after the date of this Amendment, whenever the term "Agreement" appears in the Agreement, it shall mean the Agreement as amended by this Amendment.

  • Limitation on Duties Regarding Preservation of Collateral The Secured Party’s sole duty with respect to the custody, safekeeping and preservation of the Collateral, under Section 9207 of the UCC or otherwise, shall be to deal with it in the same manner as the Secured Party deals with similar property for its own account.
