Effect of Outages on Estimated Output Sample Clauses

The "Effect of Outages on Estimated Output" clause defines how periods of equipment downtime or outages impact the calculation of expected production or service output under an agreement. Typically, this clause outlines adjustments to output estimates when scheduled or unscheduled outages occur, specifying whether and how such interruptions are factored into performance metrics or contractual obligations. Its core function is to ensure fairness and accuracy in measuring output by accounting for unavoidable disruptions, thereby preventing disputes over performance shortfalls caused by outages beyond the parties' control.
