Effect of Service Sample Clauses

The "Effect of Service" clause defines the legal consequences that arise once a document, notice, or process has been formally delivered to a party. In practice, this clause typically specifies when service is considered effective—such as upon actual receipt, a set number of days after dispatch, or upon delivery to a designated address. By clarifying when service is deemed to have occurred, the clause ensures all parties are aware of their obligations and deadlines, thereby reducing disputes over whether and when a notice or document was properly served.
