Elected Member Time Off. The unit chairperson or designate will receive one (1) shift off every two calendar months for an employee group up to 50, one shift per month off for an employee group over 50 employees for union business. The unit chairperson or designate will request such union days on a regular scheduled day shift and will provide 2 weeks’ notice. These days off will include meetings with management grievance hearings, labour management meetings and shall be coded as Union Business for Payroll purposes. The employer may grant additional days off at the employer’s discretion. The employee will continue to receive normal salary during days for union business.

Elected Member Time Off. The unit chairperson will receive twelve (12) shifts off per year, accrued once per month for union business. The unit chairperson may transfer their union business day(s) to the unit vice-chairperson subject to the requirements set out in this Article. Union business days may be built into the quarterly schedule at the unit chairperson’s request. These days off will include meetings with management, grievance hearings, labour management meetings and shall be coded as Union Business for Payroll purposes. The employer may grant additional days off as the employer’s discretion. The pilot will continue to receive normal salary during days for union business.

  • Accrued Salary and Paid Time Off On the Separation Date, the Company will pay you all accrued salary, and all accrued and unused vacation earned through the Separation Date, subject to standard payroll deductions and withholdings. You are entitled to these payments by law.

  • Regular Part-Time Employees A regular part-time employee is one who works less than full-time on a regularly scheduled basis. Regular part-time employees accumulate seniority on an hourly basis and are entitled to all benefits outlined in this Collective Agreement. Regular part-time employees shall receive the same perquisites, on a proportionate basis, as granted regular full-time employees.

  • Recall from Vacation Leave When during any period of vacation leave an employee is recalled to duty, he shall be reimbursed for reasonable expenses, as normally defined by the Employer, that he incurs:

  • Election Leave Employees shall be granted unpaid leave of absence to enable them to run for elected public office and if elected, to serve their term(s) of office subject to the following provisions: (a) Employees seeking election in a Municipal, Provincial or Federal election shall be granted unpaid leave of absence for a period of up to (90) calendar days. (b) Employees elected to public office shall be granted unpaid leave of absence for a period up to five (5) years.
