One Shift. Where one (1) shift is employed, the starting time of the first shift is between 05:00 hours and 08:00 hours, unless otherwise mutually agreed. Each employee will be provided with an allowance of a twenty (20) minute paid meal period within the limits of the fifth (5th) hour of their respective shifts. In addition each employee will be provided with two (2), ten (10) minute paid coffee breaks during their respective shifts.
One Shift. (1) When one shift is employed, the starting time shall be not earlier than 7 a.m., nor later than 8 a.m. The time and length ofthe lunch period shall be arranged by mutual agreement. Present practice on Northern and Southern Divisions to continue.
One Shift. Five (5) days from Monday to Friday, inclusive, shall constitute a workweek. Eight (8) hours between the hours of 6:00 A.M. and 5:30 P.M. shall constitute a workday. The workday shall commence on or before 9:00 A.M. and the employer may establish workdays as hereinafter indicated, with proper notification to the Union: All time worked in excess of the regular eight (8) hour day shall be paid at overtime rates. All work performed before 6:00 A.M. or after 5:30 P.M. shall be paid at the overtime rate of pay.

  • Day Shift The standard work day will consist of eight (8) hours worked between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. with a designated thirty (30) minute lunch period. Starting and stopping times to be determined by mutual agreement between the Company and the shop employees.

  • Hour Shift A twelve (12) hour tour shall be inclusive of a total of forty-five (45) minutes of unpaid meal time and a total of forty-five (45) minutes paid relief periods.

  • Hour Shifts When the Employer deems it necessary to implement a twelve (12) hour work day, affected employees shall be notified pursuant to Clause 14.05. The following Clauses shall be replaced or added to the Collective Agreement where appropriate.

  • Night Shift Employees who regularly work a full shift of eight (8) hours or more on night shift as defined in Section 12.6.1 (Types of Shifts), which includes four (4) hours or more between the hours of 12:00 midnight and 7:00 a.m., shall be paid their regular salary plus ten percent (10%) of their monthly salary per month, provided that in the case of any employee who is regularly assigned to night-shift work for less than an entire work week, the additional payment shall be made only for the portion of the work week worked on the night-shift assignment.

  • Afternoon Shift (i) Afternoon Shift is any shift where the normal ceasing time is later than 6.00 p.m. but not later than midnight. (ii) The additional loading for ordinary hours only shall be twenty-five percent (25%) of the all purpose rate applying to the Employees' classification.
