Electrical Design Sample Clauses
The electrical-design clause defines the responsibilities and standards for creating and implementing the electrical systems within a project. It typically outlines who is responsible for preparing the electrical plans, the codes and regulations that must be followed, and the process for submitting designs for approval. For example, it may require that all electrical work complies with national safety standards and is reviewed by a licensed engineer. This clause ensures that electrical systems are designed safely and efficiently, reducing the risk of errors, delays, or non-compliance with legal requirements.

Electrical Design. Advance the Electrical Design of these facilities to the 30% level by completing the following tasks: • Prepare the PDFD. Prepare a Power Distribution Functional Diagram (PDFD) that reflects the electrical loads identified under Contract 2. • Establish spatial requirements for the electrical system that will reside in each structure that is included as part of this Contract. • Establish the power supply to the Poudre River Diversion Structure and other major structures.
Electrical Design. The Consultant shall develop a 30% electrical design based upon the criteria and findings from the above tasks. The design shall consider lighting, control valves, sensors, available power, and location of power source. The Consultant shall provide a single- line diagram as part of the 30% submittal.
Electrical Design. Develop final design solutions for power service and distribution, lighting, telephones, fire detection and alarms, security systems, electronic communications and special electrical systems. Establish the final scope of the lighting, electrical and communication systems. Establish sizes and capacities of major components; equipment layouts; required space for equipment; required chases and clearances; and energy conservations measures.
Electrical Design. The Contractor is responsible for the full functionality, detail design, installation and commissioning requirements. The Contractor is responsible for interface between the mechanical plant and field devices; including field devices and the interface to the Employer power supplies. The Contractor shall submit all documentation required. The Works as a whole are designed using an approved system approach to ensure satisfactory matching and performance of its mechanical, electrical and other sub-systems and components. This design includes an operating philosophy, backed-up by process flow diagrams and logic diagrams for approval, for incorporation in the instruction manuals covering installation, operation and maintenance of individual components, as well as the Works as a whole. Prior to delivery of electrical Plant, the Employer reserves the right to witness the Factory Acceptance Tests and carry out Quality Assurance inspections at the Contractor's site. All the electrical test certificates and reports will be supplied prior to delivery of electrical equipment. The Contractor is responsible for the detailed design, quality control, manufacture, procurement, transportation, storage on site, installation, testing, commissioning, including all documentation for the electrical reticulation from and including the Unit boards 1-6 up to and including all loads for the new Sampling Analyser System. The Contractor is responsible to: • Ensure that the equipment and systems are designed to interface with the existing plant/installation. • Comply with Employers requirements for the Electrical scope of this Works. • Providing ‘As built’ drawings.
Electrical Design. Electrical design consists of the analysis of power utility service, variable speed drive analysis, determination of power requirements, preparation of lightning and circuit diagrams, and design of electric motors and switchgear. Contract drawings and specifications for the electrical work shall be prepared;
Electrical Design. The electrical design of the system will be provided in accordance with the current prevailing NEC Electrical Code (2014) and will be based on the approved interconnection single line diagram to be provided by Client. EPC Contractor will require to be provided all updates to the single line approval during construction drawings preparation. The system will be designed considering a maximum of 2.5% voltage loss, unless Client requests a different value. EPC Contractor will include within the construction drawings, tables of AC and DC wire sizes, fuse sizes as well as associated calculations.
(i) All conduit and wiring must be UL Listed and labelled to show voltage rating.
(ii) Electrical Interconnection Support - Provide design and office support for assisting with interconnection approval based on previously submitted application and single line diagrams by others.
