EMPLOYEE CLASSIFICATIONS. 23.1 The Superintendent shall be responsible for developing and recommending to the Governing Board a position classification plan which provides for the standardization and classification of all positions in the classified service. The Board shall improve the plan as submitted, or modify it as it sees fit, and from time to time shall create, abolish or combine classifications as are necessary to maintain the plan. 23.2 The Association shall be notified of any classification change and/or reclassification study conducted by the District and shall be offered an opportunity to provide input. Should the Association not agree with the classification change, the Association reserves its right to bargain over the proposed change to the extent permitted by law.
