Common use of Employees Returning to the Bargaining Unit Clause in Contracts

Employees Returning to the Bargaining Unit. a) Employees who accept an Employer’s appointment outside of the Bargaining Unit on a temporary basis and who return to a Bargaining Unit position within six (6) months shall not lose any seniority and shall continue to accumulate seniority. b) Employees who return to the Bargaining Unit after more than six (6) months shall return with only their seniority earned while employed as a Bargaining Unit member.
