Common use of Equality and Diversity Clause in Contracts

Equality and Diversity. 16.1 The Supplier shall perform its obligations under the Contract in accordance with: 16.1.1 all applicable equality Law (whether in relation to race, sex, gender reassignment, religion or belief, disability, sexual orientation, pregnancy, maternity, age or otherwise); and 16.1.2 any other requirements and instructions which the Purchaser reasonably imposes in connection with any equality obligations imposed on the Purchaser at any time under applicable equality Law; 16.2 The Supplier shall take all necessary steps, and inform the Purchaser of the steps taken, to prevent unlawful discrimination designated as such by any court or tribunal, or the Equality and Human Rights Commission or (any successor organisation).
