Ethical and Religious Directives Clause Samples
The Ethical and Religious Directives clause establishes that certain actions, services, or decisions within the agreement must comply with specified ethical or religious guidelines, often those set by a particular organization or faith tradition. In practice, this means that parties may be restricted from engaging in activities or providing services that conflict with these directives, such as certain medical procedures in a healthcare context. The core function of this clause is to ensure that contractual obligations do not require parties to act against their ethical or religious beliefs, thereby protecting institutional integrity and respecting moral boundaries.
