The Extra Assignments clause allows for the addition of tasks or responsibilities beyond those originally specified in an agreement. Extra Assignments. Preference shall be given to employees in the order of their seniority to extra work available after the completion of their day's work, provided that such employees are available at such times as the work is assigned and are qualified to perform the work required. In no event may employees displace other employees who have not completed their assignment.

Extra Assignments. Unless otherwise authorized by the District's physician consultant, the Unit member must take leave from any hourly rate or other extra assignment with the District for the period of time the Unit member is ill or quarantined.

In rare situations when the bus has major mechanical problems and may possibly break down during the transporting, the mechanic may be used instead of a regular Bus Driver. b. Whenever the Courier needs a substitute, this will be considered an Extra Assignment and J.2 (above) will be followed. 3. Extra assignments will go out no earlier than 9:45 A.M. unless another time is specifically requested by the Transportation Supervisor.

Extra Assignments. In the event district facilities are utilized by outside organizations which are charged a custodial usage fee and custodial services are required, the members of the union normally assigned to the building shall be given first opportunity to provide those custodial services.
Extra Assignments. The District and the bargaining unit member may mutually agree that the member may teach one additional period beyond his/her teaching assignment.
