EXTRA ITEM. Extra item of work shall not vitiate the contract. The contractor shall be bound to execute extra items of work as directed by ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇’s Representative. No payment shall be entertained for extra item until such executed quantity and the rates thereon are correctly derived and approved by the Employer. The Contractor’s quotation of costs for the Change of Scope/Extra Items shall be determined on the following principles: (a) the latest available edition of Gujarat State Schedule of Rates (GSSR) Published by R&B applicable to Ahmedabad will be adopted for the valuation of any works which are not already covered by the items included in Bill of Quantity. Payments for the Extra Items shall be made in INR only. (b) in the event that items are not covered in the GSSR, then the latest edition of the Gujarat Water Supply and Sewerage Board applicable for Ahmedabad and then the Delhi Schedule of Rates related to Ahmedabad Circle will be used in that order. (c) the market rates substantiated with 3 quotations, followed by work order and Tax Invoice shall be considered only when the executed items are not covered under Price Schedule or the above referred schedule of rates. A fixed percentage of 15% shall be added to cover the Contractor’s Overhead and Profit for the rates evaluated under this category (c).
EXTRA ITEM. 14.1.1. A new rate or price shall be negotiated appropriately for an item of work if: i. This item is not specified in the ▇▇▇▇ of Quantity of the Purchase Order.
EXTRA ITEM. The Client / Engineer in Charge without invalidating the Contract may at any time during the progress of the Work make the changes in the Work within the general scope of the contract, consisting of addition, alterations, deviations, or other revisions and new items. Such changes shall only be made in pursuance of instructions of the Client / Engineer in Charge and shall in no way affect the related Contract or Work to be done except as expressly stated in such authorization. The rates for extra items of Work shall be worked out from latest Market Rate System (MSR) of KP or jointly worked out by Engineer in Charge and contractor in case of Non Schedule Items. All such work shall be executed under the applicable conditions of the contract documents.
EXTRA ITEM. Any extra item arising during the execution of work due to any reason shall be paid for based on the sanctioned schedule of rates or rates derived there from. The percentage quoted by the tenderer shall be applied to the rate arrived at from the schedule of rates orrates derived there from. In case the rates cannot be derived from the Schedule of rates or the quoted rates, CPWD norms shall be followed for determination of rates. Analysis of rates on the basis of field observations shall be considered if schedule of rates/CPWD norms are not available. The rates given in the schedule are complete for labour and materials including all leads, lifts, royalty etc. except otherwise stated in the items. No extra claim on account of these items shall be entertained.

  • Extra Work At any time during the Term of this Agreement, City may request that Consultant perform Extra Work. As used herein, “Extra Work” means any work which is determined by City to be necessary for the proper completion of the Project, but which the Parties did not reasonably anticipate would be necessary at the execution of this Agreement. Consultant shall not perform, nor be compensated for, Extra Work without written authorization from City’s Representative.

  • Lost Items The Credit Union, in receiving items from you for withdrawal or deposit, acts only as your agent and reserves the right to reverse the credit for any deposited items or to charge your account for the items should they become lost in the collection process.

  • Extra Trips All trips other than regular runs or supplemental runs shall be awarded to drivers according to the following procedures: 9.7.1 All extra trips shall be assigned in compliance with the following section of this Agreement; provided, however, that no driver shall be eligible to work more than forty (40) hours in any workweek, exclusive of hours worked on Saturday or Sunday, when another eligible driver is available and would not be put into overtime. 9.7.2 Assignment of extra trips shall be made on the basis of a “Trip Board.” The most senior driver who signs up for the extra trip shall be awarded the trip. No driver may give up any extra trip or supplemental run or regular run previously awarded in order to take an extra trip, if Section 9.7.1 above would be violated. There shall be no pre-empting of regular runs by drivers who wish to take extra trips. 9.7.3 Trips are to be dated as they are received by the Transportation Office. All extra trips shall be awarded to the most senior appropriate driver signing the “Trip Board.” If the extra trip is posted before a driver’s regular run clock-out time, the driver has until the driver’s next regular run clock-in time to reply. If there is no reply, the dispatcher shall assign the extra trip to the next senior driver on the sign-up sheet. 9.7.4 Drivers shall not be eligible for extra trips during periods of absence due to illness. Drivers absent for personal illness on the last working day before a Saturday, Sunday, or holiday trip shall not be eligible to drive such trip and will lose his/her turn on the list until the process begins anew. Drivers absent for other reasons will be able to drive such trips provided they contact the Transportation Office by 3:30 p.m. on the last working day prior to the scheduled trip to verify their availability and confirm the start time of the trip. 9.7.5 The dispatch book shall be made available for driver viewing by the Transportation Office.
