Extracurricular Trips a. Employees who volunteer for extracurricular trips will be compensated only for hours actually on duty as required by the trip's sponsor.
b. When an extracurricular trip necessitates lodging, it will be provided by the trip's sponsor. However, no driver will be required to share a room.
c. Drivers will normally be furnished meals for out of district trips by the sponsor. If a meal is not provided, then the driver may apply for and receive a meal allowance using the District’s “Out of District Travel Expense Report” which designates the current approved meal reimbursement rates. Reimbursement will be made based on the following schedule:
1. Breakfast - When travel begins before 6 A.M. and extends beyond 8 A.M.
2. Lunch - When travel begins before 12 noon and extends beyond 2 P.M.
Extracurricular Trips a. Employees assigned to extracurricular field trips as determined by Article 19 - 19.6, shall be paid at the established rate provided for in the salary schedule for such trips. For hours worked over forty (40) in a work week employees will be paid at one and a half times the weighted average hourly rate for that work week.

Extracurricular Trips. “Driving time” will be defined as the time the bus leaves the bus lot until arrival at the destination and from the time the bus leaves from the destination until the bus returns to the bus lot. Fifteen (15) minutes will be allowed for the pre-trip inspections and bus clean-up.
Extracurricular Trips. No employee of the school district presently excluded from the certification issued by the Labour Relations Board shall drive any vehicle for which a Class 2 driving license is required, except in the case of an emergency or where no bargaining unit employee is available.

Drivers will be furnished a comparable meal equal to the head of the field trip that shall include cafeteria meal that includes a beverage, entrée, and snack for out of district trips by the sponsor. If a meal is not provided, then the driver may apply for and receive a meal allowance using the District’s “Out of District Travel Expense Report” which designates the current approved meal reimbursement rates. Reimbursement will be made based on the following schedule:
1. Breakfast - When travel begins before 6 A.M. and extends beyond 8 A.M.
2. Lunch - When travel begins before 12 noon and extends beyond 2 P.M.
Extracurricular Trips. Extracurricular trips beginning and ending on the same day will be paid at the driver’s normal hourly pay. Extracurricular trips extending overnight will be paid at the driver’s regular pay rate for a minimum of eight (8) hours or actual driving time, whichever is greater. Extracurricular Trips. Unless special arrangement is made with JCEA beforehand all athletic trips and extracurricular trips such as, band, vocal music, classroom oriented trips originating outside of school day will be taken by school bus.
Extracurricular Trips. Compensation for Extracurricular Trips will be paid at the current starting rate for “Regular Route” Drivers. Beginning of trip from Bus lot or home (If bus is kept at home) to end of trip. No additional time will be provided for pre-trip or clean-up.
Extracurricular Trips. 1. When traveling on extra-curricular trips (all in county and out of county field trips only – not to include before/after school buses returning students home or to regular drop-off destinations), bus drivers shall be paid at a rate of one and one half times their hourly rate on the salary schedule. If the trip requires an overnight stay, a driver will be paid according to the salary schedule for driving or duty time. The total hours paid shall not include sleeping time. Drivers of out of town field trips shall receive reimbursement for meals and lodging at the current State rate. The proper district travel reimbursement forms will have to be submitted in order to be reimbursed. Arrangements for lodging shall be made by the trip sponsor.
Extracurricular Trips. 26.01 The Division will discuss with the Union any change to board policy related to extracurricular trips prior to changing the policy.
