Final Cleaning. The Contractor expressly undertakes, either directly or through its Subcontractor(s), before final payment, to remove all surplus material, false work, temporary structures, including foundations thereof, and debris of every nature resulting from its operations and to put the site in a neat, orderly condition, to thoroughly clean and leave reasonably dust free all finished surfaces including all equipment, piping, etc., on the interior of all buildings included in the Contract; and to thoroughly clean all glass installed under the Contract including the removal of all paint and mortar splatter and other defacements. If a Contractor fails to clean up at the completion of the Work, the City may do so and charge for costs thereof to the Contractor in accordance with these General Conditions.
Final Cleaning. At the completion of the Work, the Contractor shall remove all waste materials, rubbish, tools, equipment, machinery and surplus materials, and professionally clean all sight- exposed surfaces so that the Work is clean and ready for occupancy. Subsequent to installation of User Agency furniture, telephones, and equipment, the Contractor shall provide such additional cleaning as may be necessary to remove any soil resulting from installation of such furniture, telephones and equipment. The Contractor shall comply with the detailed final cleaning requirements of the Specifications; in the event of any conflict between the Specifications and this Section specifically with respect to cleaning at or after the completion of the Work, the Specifications shall apply.
Final Cleaning. Before final inspection of the work, the Contractor shall clean all ground occupied by the Contractor in connection with the work of all rubbish, excess materials, temporary structures and equipment, and all parts of the work must be left in a neat and presentable condition to the satisfaction of the Project Manager. However, the Contractor shall not remove any warning and directional signs prior to the formal acceptance by the Project Manager. Full compensation for final cleaning will be included in the prices paid for the various items of work or lump sum bid, as the case may be, and no separate payment will be made therefor.

Final Cleaning. A. Before the final inspection, thoroughly clean the entire exterior and interior areas of the building where construction work has been performed, the immediate surrounding areas, and corridors, stairs, halls, storage areas, temporary offices and toilets, including the following: 1. Remove all construction facilities, debris, and rubbish from the Owner’s property and legally dispose of same beyond the site limits. 2. Sweep, dust, wash, and polish all finished surfaces. This includes cleaning of the work of all finished trades where needed, whether or not cleaning for such trades is included in their respective sections. 3. Leave pipe and duct spaces, chases, and furred spaces thoroughly clean. 4. Wash and polish all new glass on both sides, such work being performed by a window cleaning contractor specializing in such work. 5. Clean all new and altered ceilings, wall surfaces, floors, window and door frames, hardware, metal work, glass, glazing, enameled metals, and the like.

Contractor shall be fully responsible for meeting all OSHA, local, state, and national codes concerning safety provisions for their employees, sub-contractors, all building and site occupants, staff, public, etc. 2. Prior to completion, storage and adequate protection of all material and equipment shall be the Contractor’s responsibility. 3. In no event shall the City be responsible for any damages to any of the Contractor's equipment, materials, property, or clothing lost, damaged, destroyed or stolen.

Contractor shall leave the work and adjacent areas affected in a cleaned condition satisfactory to the City Project Manager. B. The Contractor shall clean and remove from the premises, all surplus and discarded materials, rubbish, and temporary structures, and shall restore in an acceptable manner all property, both public and private, which has been damaged during the prosecution of the work and shall have the work in a neat and presentable condition. Note: Any and all debris shall be removed from the premises. New construction debris, trash, etc., shall not be left or buried on site. C. Contractor shall broom clean exterior paved driveways and parking areas and hose clean sidewalks and concrete exposed surfaces if impacted by work or included in work area.
