Common use of Fixed Shifts Clause in Contracts

Fixed Shifts. For those employees who work a fixed shift, a shift differential shall be paid for hours worked as follows: (1) Employees whose shift begins at or after 2:00 p.m. shall receive a differential increment of five percent (5%) over their base hourly rate of pay. (2) Employees whose shift begins at or after 10:00 p.m. shall receive a shift differential increment of seven and one-half percent (7.5%) over their base hourly rate of pay.
