Float Pay Sample Clauses
The Float Pay clause defines how payments are handled when the final contract price is not yet determined, allowing for provisional payments based on estimated or interim values. In practice, this means that the paying party disburses funds according to a temporary calculation, such as a percentage of work completed or an agreed estimate, until the actual amount due can be finalized. This clause ensures that cash flow is maintained for the party performing the work, while also providing a mechanism to reconcile payments once the final figures are available, thereby reducing financial uncertainty during the course of a project.
