Float Pool Premium. To help meet the needs of the organization for staffing, the Hospital will continue to post positions for a Float Pool under the RN job description. Positions may be posted as Full Time, Part Time, and PRN based on identified staffing needs. Float positions will be filled under the posting procedures of Article 6, Section 4 by nurses with appropriate training, competency and ability to work in multiple units (as per Float Pool Guidelines # PCS 217) to allow needed staffing flexibility to accommodate patient census fluctuations. The Hospital determines the number of Float Pool RN positions, when to post positions and the FTE equivalent hours sufficient to meet the changing needs of the Hospital.
