Flock IP Sample Clauses

The 'Flock IP' clause defines the ownership and usage rights of intellectual property (IP) created or used by Flock in the course of providing its services. Typically, this clause clarifies whether Flock retains ownership of pre-existing IP, such as proprietary software, tools, or methodologies, and may specify the extent to which clients are granted licenses to use such IP during or after the engagement. Its core practical function is to prevent disputes over IP ownership by clearly delineating which rights remain with Flock and which, if any, are transferred or licensed to the client, thereby protecting Flock's proprietary assets while enabling client use as agreed.
