Flowdown Requirements Sample Clauses

The Flowdown Requirements clause obligates a party, typically a contractor or subcontractor, to ensure that certain terms and conditions from the primary contract are incorporated into their agreements with lower-tier subcontractors or suppliers. This means that key obligations—such as confidentiality, compliance with laws, or specific performance standards—must be passed down the contractual chain, ensuring all parties involved are held to the same standards. The core function of this clause is to maintain consistency and compliance throughout all levels of a project, preventing gaps in responsibility and reducing the risk of non-compliance with the main contract.
