For School Clause Samples

The "For School" clause designates that certain terms, conditions, or provisions within the agreement specifically apply to educational institutions or activities related to schools. In practice, this clause may outline requirements, responsibilities, or limitations that are unique to school settings, such as compliance with educational regulations, student privacy protections, or use of resources for educational purposes. Its core function is to ensure that the agreement addresses the unique needs and legal obligations of schools, thereby providing clarity and tailored protections for educational environments.
For School. Age Child Care Aide and Bus Aide employees, the overtime provisions applicable to such positions are limited to items 1, 3, 4, and 5 herein. Employees in these positions are not eligible for compensatory time.
For School. Year Employees whose long service leave is due and taken or paid out during the time this agreement is in operation, payment for such leave will be as follows: 34.7.1 The proportion of long service leave accrued prior to 18th December 1990 will be paid at the Award rate applicable to the relevant classification as per Clause 17 of this Agreement, full time or pro rata appropriate to the hours of work. 34.7.2 The proportion of leave accrued from or after 18th December 1990 will be paid at the averaged pay rate as set out in 34.3 of this Clause. 34.7.3 The rates referred to in 34.7.1 and 34. 7.2 above will be those applicable at the time of taking long service leave.
For School. A non-refundable deposit of $300 deposit per child. This will be applied towards payment for the final month of school (May 09)

For School. After August 1, 2008, changes will incur a fee of $75 per change.

  • Summer School SUCCESS employees are not eligible for this provision. Employees engaged in teaching summer school shall be granted two summer school days of absence in a single term for either sick leave or emergency leave, or a combination of both, non-accumulative.

  • High School At the request of the Superintendent, a high school teacher may volunteer on a semester basis to teach all the student contact time and be paid one sixth (1/6) of his/her salary for the semester. This section shall not be used to circumvent the hiring of additional full time teachers.

  • University Any notice may be served upon the University by delivering it, in writing, to the University at the address set forth on the last page of this Agreement, by depositing it in a United States Postal Service deposit box with the postage fully prepaid and with the notice addressed to the University at the aforementioned address, or by sending a facsimile of it to the University facsimile number set forth on the last page of this Agreement.

  • The School 1. The School is responsible for providing a learning atmosphere and classroom facilities comparable to the ones offered on the College campus, regardless of modality of instruction. 2. The School will provide instructional technology and other auxiliary equipment typically used in support of classroom instruction. 3. The School will provide facilities, personnel, and equipment to meet the particular requirements for the online/internet, Interactive Video Conference (IVC). Appendix B describes video class regulations. 4. The School will assign professional-level personnel, as applicable and as agreed upon between the Parties, who will be responsible for identifying, advising, and verifying prospective students’ eligibility to participate in the Dual Credit Program in accordance with Applicable Law. 5. The School will assign trained professional-level personnel, as applicable and as agreed upon between the Parties, to assist with College registration functions, including but not limited to, completing and collecting appropriate admissions forms, and collecting student documentation. 6. The School/District will initiate the process for course accommodations due to a disability by providing students with documentation outlining required accommodations and services under an Individual Education Plan (IEP). It is the student’s responsibility to provide the IEP documentation from the School/District to the Office of Disability Services (ODS) at the College. Upon receipt of the School/District IEP documentation from the student, the College’s ODS will provide a verification form listing the required classroom accommodations to the student. The student is responsible for presenting the verification form from the College’s ODS to the instructor and making the necessary arrangements for accommodations with the instructor. Please note that instructors are not allowed to provide classroom accommodation to a student until appropriate verification from the College’s ODS has been provided, therefore, it is critical to complete this process as soon as possible to ensure the student receives accommodations.   • Elementary School At the request of the Superintendent, elementary school teachers that teach all the student contact time on a daily basis will be paid for an additional hour at an hourly rate based upon their contractual daily rate of pay for a maximum of 180 days. Teachers will not be required to spend additional time beyond their regular day. All scheduling options must have been exhausted before an administrator will receive permission for this variance. The appeal process for this variance is defined in the Staffing Plan.
