Common use of Forfeit of Seniority Clause in Contracts

Forfeit of Seniority. An employee shall forfeit his seniority under any of the following conditions: 1. If he resigns from the Company; 2. If he is discharged for just cause; 3. If he fails to return from approved leave; 4. If he is laid off for more than thirty-six (36) months; 5. If off work due to non-occupational illness or injury for more than twenty-four (24) months.
