Common use of Formal Level 1 Clause in Contracts

Formal Level 1. If a complaint is not resolved at the informal level, the complaint may be formalized as a grievance. A fonpalized grievance shall be submitted, in writing, within seven (7) working days of the meeting between the supervisor and the affected Bargaining Unit Member( s). A copy of the grievance shall be sent to the Union and the immediate supervisor. The immediate supervisor shall, within seven (7) working days of the receipt of the grievance, render a written decision. A copy of this decision shall be forwarded to the grievant(s) and the Union.

A fonpalized formalized grievance shall be submitted, in writing, within seven ten (710) working days of the meeting between the supervisor and the affected Bargaining Unit Member( sbargaining unit member(s). A copy of the grievance shall be sent to the Union and the immediate supervisor. The immediate supervisor shall, within seven ten (710) working days of the receipt of the grievance, render a written decision. A copy of this decision shall be forwarded to the grievant(s) grievants and the Union.
