Fourth Amendment Clause Samples
The Fourth Amendment is a constitutional provision that protects individuals from unreasonable searches and seizures by the government. It requires law enforcement to obtain a warrant, supported by probable cause, before conducting most searches of private property or persons. For example, police generally need a judge's approval to search someone's home or personal belongings, unless specific exceptions apply. Fourth Amendment. The Administrative Agent shall have received multiple counterparts as requested of this Fourth Amendment from the Borrower and the all of the Lenders.

Fourth Amendment. 4. The City will ensure that VPPD officers conduct all interactions with the public consistent with the requirements of the Fourth Amendment of the Constitution of the United States.
5. The City will ensure that VPPD officers do not rely on information known at the time of reliance to be materially false or incorrect to justify an investigatory stop, search, interrogation, citation, or arrest.
6. VPPD will explicitly prohibit the practice of “investigative holds,” and will make clear in policy and training that investigative holds without probable cause violate the Constitution and will subject officers to discipline, including possible termination.
