Common use of Fourth Step Clause in Contracts

Fourth Step. The fourth salary step level may be granted to an employee who has proven to be fully satisfactory in a given classification for one (1) additional year of service from the granting of the previous salary step increase.

Fourth Step. The fourth salary step level may be granted to an employee who has proven to be fully satisfactory “exceed employment standards” in a given classification for one (1) additional year of service from the granting of the previous salary step increase.

Fourth Step. The fourth step salary step level may be granted to an employee who has proven to be fully satisfactory “exceed” employment standards in a given classification for one twenty-six (126) additional year pay periods of service from the granting of the previous salary step increase.
