Full Owner Occupancy Clause Samples

The Full Owner Occupancy clause establishes that the property must be entirely occupied by the owner, rather than by tenants or other non-owner occupants. In practice, this means the owner is required to use the property as their primary residence and cannot lease or sublet any portion of it to others. This clause is commonly used in residential purchase agreements or homeowners association rules to maintain a certain character within a community and to ensure that properties are not used for investment or rental purposes. Its core function is to preserve the intended use and atmosphere of a neighborhood by preventing absentee ownership and excessive rental activity.
