General Service Pay Range Assignments. A. Effective July 1, 2015, each classification represented by the Union will continue to be assigned to the same salary range of the “State General Service Salary Schedule Effective July 1, 2013 through June 30, 2015” that it was assigned on June 30, 2015. Effective July 1, 2015, each employee will continue to be assigned to the same range and step of the State General Service Salary Schedule that he or she was assigned on June 30, 2015.‌‌ B. Effective July 1, 2015, all salary ranges and steps of the “General Service Salary Schedule” will be increased by three percent (3%) as shown in Appendix E. This salary increase is based on the General Service Salary Schedule in effect on June 30, 2015. C. Effective July 1, 2016, all salary ranges and steps of the General Service Salary Schedule will be increased by one percent (1%), as shown in Appendix F. This Salary increase is based on the General Service Salary Schedule in effect on June 30, 2016. D. In addition to subsection C above, effective July 1, 2016, all salary ranges and steps of the General Service Salary Schedule will be increased by eight tenths of a percent (.8%) or twenty dollars ($20.00) per month, whichever is greater. NOTE: Twenty dollars ($20.00) per month is about eleven and one-half cents($0.11.5) per hour. E. Employees who are paid above the maximum for their range on the effective date of the increases described in Subsections B, C, and D above, will not receive the specified increase to their current pay unless the new range encompasses their current rate of pay.
