GENERAL WORKING RULES. 15.1 All regular employees called to work outside of their regular schedule shall receive a minimum of two (2) hours pay at the appropriate rate. When work continues without interruption after normal quitting time, the minimum call out in the preceding sentence shall not apply. 15.2 Except in cases of emergency, an employee who has been on duty for six (6) or more hours after 8:00 p.m. shall not report to work the day next following until he or she has had a minimum of nine (9) hours of relief; provided, however, that such employee shall be paid at his or her applicable straight-time rate for those hours of his or her regularly scheduled shift included in his or her nine (9) hours of relief; and provided further, if such employee does not report for work immediately following such nine (9) hours of relief, he or she will not be entitled to straight-time pay for those hours of his or her regularly scheduled shift which were included in his or her nine (9) hours of relief. 15.3 Stand-by Time for Borough Lineman: Employees shall receive $4.00 per hour while on stand-by time and $5.00 per hour while on stand-by for closed holidays. Stand- by time is determined by the Borough based on a weekly rotation of the involved employees, in addition to normal work time during which an employee is not working but is required to restrict activities and be available for return to work. An employee is not considered to be on stand-by status unless he has previously been, at least forty-eight
