Common use of Grievance Handling Clause in Contracts

Grievance Handling. It is the policy of the Company and the Union that grievances be handled with the participation of the regular ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇. The Company agrees to cooperate with the Union in establishing procedures to assure that the regular ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ is available for the processing of grievances. The Union agrees that such procedures shall not ham- per the Company’s operation. The Company shall, in the absence of the regular ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇, recognize an alternate ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ designated by the Union.
