Common use of GRIEVANCES WILL BE PROCESSED AS FOLLOWS Clause in Contracts

GRIEVANCES WILL BE PROCESSED AS FOLLOWS. STEP 1 It is generally understood that an Employee has no complaint or grievance until he, either directly or through the Union, has first given the Employee’s Supervisor an opportunity to adjust the complaint. If, after registering the complaint with the designated Management Representative, and such complaint is not settled within three (3) regular working days or within any longer period which may have been agreed to by the Parties, then the following steps of the Grievance Procedure may be invoked. STEP 2 The grievance shall be submitted in writing to the designated Management Representative either directly or through the Union. The designated Management Representative will attempt to settle with the Employee’s Union ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ within three (3) working days of the receipt of the grievance. The grievor may be present, if requested by either Party. The designated management Representative within a further three (3) working days give the Employer’s answer in writing, and return it to the Union.
