Group Leader. I understand that by enrolling in this trip, I have made the choice to travel with the coach/administrator/group leader organizing my group, and I acknowledge that this person was not chosen by Hope Costa Rica I also understand that a group leader must accompany me on the trip. If my group leader cancels for any reason, Hope Costa Rica will ask him or her to assign a new group leader. If I cancel at this point and choose not to travel with the replacement group leader, my cancellation will be treated as a standard cancellation subject to the terms of this Agreement. If no replacement group leader can be found, I will need to cancel and the Hope Costa Rica Cancellation Policy will apply.
Group Leader. The Maintenance Department will have a Group Leader, one per shift, as required, to assist the Supervisor/Manager in various non-disciplinary duties.
Group Leader. Responsibilities
i) Directing and instructing the group (i.e. three or more employees),
ii) Assigning work to the group,
iii) The quality and quantity of the group,
iv) Planning the work and arranging for tools, drawing, etc., for the next job,
v) Reporting production holdups that the Group Leader is unable to resolve,
vi) Recommending improvements in production, quality and cost and introducing such improvements to the extent feasible,
vii) Good housekeeping and safety, and
viii) Supervision of the group in the absence of the supervisor or on shifts not otherwise supervised.
Group Leader. The Group Leader shall be an hourly-rated employee who is appointed by the Company to lead the work of the group of employeesof which is a member. function is to assist others in the group to maintain a scheduled flow of work, as well asto doproductivework to which may be assigned. The Group Leader shall not have disciplinary authority. Future Group Leaders and Alternates must be selected from employees who have greater than the median seniorityof machine operatorson the shift. The rate of pay for a Group Leader shall be one dollar ($1 per hour over the top rate of group.
Group Leader. An employee who is given the responsibility as a Group Leader will be paid a premium in the range of 25 (twenty-five) cents to $1.00 (one dollar) per hour. The actual premium received will depend upon the employee’s performance as a Group Leader. Lead Tradesperson/Lead Hand An employee who is given the responsibility as a Lead Tradesperson will be paid a premium up to 75 (seventy-five) cents. An employee who is given the responsibility as a Lead Hand will be paid a premium up to 50 (fifty) cents. The actual premium received will depend upon the degree to which the employee assumes the extra responsibilities that are required. The Company agrees to post on each plant’s notice boards the appointments of all permanent Group Leaders, Lead Tradespersons, and Lead Hands. On an annual basis the Company will review all leader positions and premiums.
Group Leader. Unqualified
Group Leader. Lead person over a group of employees who, under instruction by the supervisor, directs the work flow, instructs and directs other employees in the proper operation of the work procedure, and performs any and all duties encompassed in the classification, may fill in for other employees in their absence as necessary. Students in the work-study program are not considered employees under this provision.
Group Leader. An Employee assigned by Management, who under the direction of the Department Supervisor, has the responsibility and authority to direct the work of a group of employees, on hourly paid jobs, and may be required to perform some of the same work as that of the group directed. Group Leader. In addition to the Chaperones designated to Program Groups, Group must designate one (1) additional Chaperone for the CAMP Program as the Group leader (“Group Leader”) who will be available to supervise students but will not be assigned to any Program Group. Group Leader will not be charged tuition.
Group Leader. The University, at its sole discretion, may from time to time, appoint Group Leaders. The University shall not appoint any temporary or probationary employee as a Group Leader, unless no other qualified employee accepts a Group Leader opportunity. Such appointment is subject to the agreement of the employee so appointed. A Group Leader is herein defined as an employee who in addition to performing their regular duties, has been delegated the responsibility for a group of workers, for at least one (1) shift, consistent with Section 1 (3) (b) of the Ontario Labour Relations Act. For whatever period they are appointed, they shall be paid the regular Group Leader rate which is the classification rate plus the Group Leader Premium outlined in Wage Schedules I and II.
