GYM RULES. Members agree to abide by the following rules in relation to conduct, behaviour, dress code, equipment usage and use of services within The Gym. I. Respecting our equipment a. You are responsible for using our facilities and equipment correctly, including adjusting levels or settings. If you are not sure how to operate any equipment, please ask our staff before you use it; b. Note that you will be responsible for any damage that you or your guests cause through a wilful act or negligence; c. Use a clean towel when you use equipment, including exercise mats; d. Keep to the set time limits; and e. Put equipment away after use. II. Taking care in wet areas a. Take care entering any wet areas of the Gym such as a bathroom or shower. Please note that these areas are unsupervised and you use them at your own risk. b. You must follow all signs and never run, or jump. Please also supervise children closely. III. Keeping your belongings safe a. Any storage we provide for your use while exercising is not secure storage. Please keep your valuables on your or alternatively do not bring valuables into The Gym b. Unfortunately, thefts do happen. We cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage to your belongings while you are at The Gym. c. If you leave belongings at The Gym, we will hold them for you; however we give any items of lost property to charity each month. IV. Wearing suitable clothes a. All members and guests must wear suitable clothes and enclosed sports shoes in any exercise areas, except for wet areas. We do not allow clothes with offensive images or inappropriate advertising. V. Respecting others a. Be respectful and do not behave inappropriately towards other members, guests, our staff and outside providers. Examples of inappropriate behaviour include: i. verbal or physical intimidation; ii. Harassment; iii. discrimination on the basis of race, sex, age or any disability another person may have VI. Parking a. You park in the gym’s car park or on gym premises at your own risk. We are not liable for any loss or damage to your vehicle or its contents. b. Please keep to any set time limits for parking or we may charge you an extra fee. VII. Consequences of Breaking the Rules a. We can refuse entry to anyone, including members, if they act unreasonably or break the rules of The Gym. We may also warn you that you risk having your membership cancelled. If you continue to behave in the same way, we may cancel your membership immediately
GYM RULES. NO outside food or drinks (clear water only), alcohol, smoking or tobacco products allowed inside any gym.
GYM RULES. 1. Children under the age of 12 shall not be permitted on the stage unless supervised by a parent or other responsible adult. 2. No basketball, volleyball or other activity that requires running or a ball may occur when the stage is set up. 3. Basketballs, volleyballs, etc. are to be used within the confines of the CLC basketball court only and shall not be thrown, dribbled, kicked or rolled against the walls or used in other parts of the CLC. 4. Athletic shoes must be worn for all athletic events held in the Community Life Center. 5. The railing on the second floor is not to be used as a seat. Any individual found sitting on the railing will be asked to leave the building and their group will be subject to dismissal from the building. 6. The following activities are not to be allowed in the CLC: hanging from the rims or nets of the basketball goals, batting balls, football, soccer, handball, skating, skateboarding and bicycling. Throwing or dropping any object from the second floor to the first floor or throwing any object from the first to the second floor is strictly forbidden. 7. When folding, unfolding raising or lowering the basketball goals the roll up window should be open and the operation of the goal should be observed to make sure everything operates correctly.

Please note that the rules are part of the Membership Agreement, as referenced in Part 1, Section A, Clause 3. All member, guests, tenants, contractors, visitors and staff must abide by the Rules. Individual Gyms may display their rules in Gym, which you also need to comply to. Your failure to comply with the Rules may result in severe consequences, including but not limited to termination of your Viva Gym membership. If you notice someone that is not obeying the rules, please notify one of our staff members and do not attempt to enforce the rules yourself. We all have a responsibility towards each other, to ensure we follow the spirit of the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa, and uphold the dignity of every person. At any time we may change these rules, and we will always have the updated version available on our website ▇▇▇.▇▇▇▇▇▇▇.▇▇.▇▇ in the Terms and Conditions area at the bottom of every page.

All rights to use the Software are granted on condition that such rights are forfeited if you fail to comply with the terms of this agreement.

  • COMPANY RULES Company requires Students, while participating in the clinical program, on Company property or in a Company vehicle, to meet all standards of appearance and conduct required by Company of its own employees. Company reserves the right to refuse to allow any Student to participate in the clinical program for failure to comply with Company standard.

  • WORK RULES The State may change or adopt work rules during the term of this Agreement but such changed or adopted work rules shall not be inconsistent with the terms and provisions of this Agreement. Whenever such work rules are to be changed or adopted, they shall be posted on bulletin boards in the appropriate organizational units for seven (7) days before they are to become effective. Simultaneously with such posting a copy of same shall be forwarded to MSEA-SEIU. Upon request by MSEA-SEIU the State will meet and consult with MSEA-SEIU on the proposed changed or new rules.
