Common use of Heat away from premises Clause in Contracts

Heat away from premises. 6.3.1 It is a condition precedent to our liability under this insurance that, when using a naked flame or other heat source including but not limited to:‌ a) oxyacetylene; b) electric arc or similar welding, cutting, grinding or other spark emitting equipment; c) blow lamps; d) otherwise applying heat; away from your premises, you and your employees shall take all reasonable precautions to prevent damage. 6.3.2 Where the use of heat away from your premises involves a) oxyacetylene; b) electric arc or similar welding, cutting, grinding or other spark emitting equipment; c) blow lamps; d) otherwise applying heat; and the work is subcontracted; then you shall require the subcontractor to also take all reasonable precautions to prevent damage. 6.3.3 The term ‘reasonable precautions’ shall include but not be limited to the following:‌
