Before Starting Work Sample Clauses
The "Before Starting Work" clause sets out specific requirements or conditions that must be met before any work on a project or contract can commence. Before Starting Work i) a person shall be made responsible for fire safety and for ensuring that reasonable precautions are taken;
ii) all persons shall be made aware of the location of the site’s fire alarms and fire fighting equipment;
iii) the responsible person shall examine all property within a radius of six (6) metres from where the heat is being applied and where possible remove all combustible materials or otherwise cover and protect by overlapping sheets or screens of non-combustible material.
Before Starting Work. Design-Builder shall submit the following to the City for review and acceptance within ten (10) Days after City's issuance of the Notice to Proceed, and as a condition to payment:
A. A detailed Project Schedule indicating the times (numbers of days or dates) for starting and completing the various stages of a Work Order Package including each Milestone Date specified in the Contract Documents;
B. A schedule of required submittals described in Section 3.11 of the General Conditions and the times for submitting, reviewing and processing each submittal; and

Contractor shall submit the following to District for review and acceptance within fourteen (14) calendar days after the Date of Commencement fixed in District's Notice to Proceed, and as a condition to payment: (i) detailed Project Schedule including each deadline specified in the Contract Documents; (ii) Schedule of Submittals; (iii) material Procurement Schedule; and (iv) a Schedule of Values in accordance with the requirements of the General Conditions and other Contract Documents.

A. A detailed Project Schedule utilizing the latest release of MS Project indicating the times (numbers of days or dates) for starting and completing the various stages of the Work including each Milestone specified in the Contract Documents;
B. A schedule of required Submittals and the times for submitting, reviewing and processing each submittal; and
C. The Cost and Man-Loaded Schedule of Values referenced in Paragraph 4.1 herein acceptable to City in form and substance.
Before Starting Work. Have photographs taken at site from different points of view sufficient in number to show site (and conditions at existing structures) but not fewer than 10 photographs.
Before Starting Work. (a) Within five (5) days after execution of the Agreement, Contractor will (i) submit to City and the Program Manager, for approval, an estimated progress schedule indicating the starting and completion dates of the various stages of the Work and (ii) meet with the City and Program Manager for a preconstruction conference.
(b) Before starting the Work, Contractor will furnish to City Certificates of Insurance and Bonds as required by Article IV, and any other documents, affidavits, or things required to be submitted by the terms of this Agreement, the Bid Documents, and/or the State Law of Georgia (i) prior to the commencement of the Work or (ii) upon execution of the Agreement.

Before Starting Work. Contractor shall furnish a performance bond and a payment bond from surety companies that are duly licensed or authorized to issue bonds in the required amounts in the jurisdiction in which the Project is located. Each bond shall be in an amount equal to the Contract Price, as security for the faithful performance and payment of all of Contractor’s obligations under the Contract. These bonds shall remain in effect until the completion of the correction period specified in Paragraph 7.12 but, in any case, not less than one year after the date when final payment becomes due.
