Before Starting Work i) a person shall be made responsible for fire safety and for ensuring that reasonable precautions are taken; ii) all persons shall be made aware of the location of the site’s fire alarms and fire fighting equipment; iii) the responsible person shall examine all property within a radius of six (6) metres from where the heat is being applied and where possible remove all combustible materials or otherwise cover and protect by overlapping sheets or screens of non-combustible material.

A detailed Project Schedule indicating the times (numbers of days or dates) for starting and completing the various stages of a Work Order Package including each Milestone Date specified in the Contract Documents; B. A schedule of required submittals described in Section 3.11 of the General Conditions and the times for submitting, reviewing and processing each submittal; and

The Cost and Man-Loaded Schedule of Values referenced in Paragraph 4.1 herein acceptable to City in form and substance.

Before Starting Work. Contractor shall furnish a performance bond and a payment bond from surety companies that are duly licensed or authorized to issue bonds in the required amounts in the jurisdiction in which the Project is located. Each bond shall be in an amount equal to the Contract Price, as security for the faithful performance and payment of all of Contractor’s obligations under the Contract. These bonds shall remain in effect until the completion of the correction period specified in Paragraph 7.12 but, in any case, not less than one year after the date when final payment becomes due.

  • Commencement and Completion The Work shall commence on _______________, 20__ and shall be complete in accordance with this Agreement without delay on ______________, 20__. The term “day”, used throughout this Agreement, refers to calendar days. Contractor shall not be entitled to any additional compensation for any Permitted Delays. If this Agreement is not signed and returned to the Owner before any work commences, this Agreement will be considered as accepted as presented to the Contractor.

  • Completion Date The Work under this Contract shall be completed by midnight of the date required in the Contract as the Material Completion and Occupancy Date unless extended by approved requests for extension of time.

  • Commencement of Work Engineer shall not commence any field work under this Contract until he/she/it has obtained all required insurance and such insurance has been approved by County. As further set out below, Engineer shall not allow any subcontractor/subconsultant(s) to commence work to be performed in connection with this Contract until all required insurance has been obtained and approved and such approval shall not be unreasonably withheld. Approval of the insurance by County shall not relieve or decrease the liability of Engineer hereunder.
