Hours and Responsibilities. 22.2.1 Both teachers shall meet with the principal before school opens to establish exact working days and meeting responsibilities. The principal shall approve the teachers’ working calendar before school opens. 22.2.2 Both teachers together shall assume full responsibility for the class instructional program. They will regularly meet to jointly develop lesson plans as well as be informed as to grade level collaborations and ensure clear communication with parents/guardians. 22.2.3 Both participants will be required to work the pre-service days of the contract period and the first day of student attendance on the same basis as regular full-time employees. Participants will conduct parent conferences jointly and attend scheduled “Back-to-School Night” and “Open House.” Only the teacher on duty will be required to attend staff meetings on “duty days.”
