The Board is responsible for curriculum adoption and must approve all significant changes, including the adoption of new textbooks and new courses, before such changes are made. The Principal and teachers are responsible for making curriculum recommendations. The curriculum will be designed to accomplish the learning objectives and goals for excellence consistent with AHCS’s educational philosophy, mission statement, objectives, and goals.

Children learn new knowledge by building on what they already know. Only a system that clearly defines the knowledge and skills required to participate in each successive grade can be equitable and fair for all students. For the purposes of this Clause 15.4, accidents and unusual occurrences on the Project Highway shall include: (a) accident, death or severe injury to any person; (b) damaged or dislodged fixed equipment; (c) flooding of Project Highway; and (d) any other unusual occurrence.
