Import Permits. PQPC or its representative shall be the importer of record and shall obtain and maintain all necessary licenses and permits for the importation of Fuel hereunder at the Unloading Point.
Import Permits. Many countries require import or export permits or certificates of origin for customs clearance (regardless of the hazardous status of the applicable Product(s)). The Customer is solely responsible for obtaining all import permits or other documentation and forwarding the appliable documentation to IQMH for inclusion with the Product shipment. IQMH will not ship any Products without the required documentation. Products will be shipped in accordance with Incoterms Free - on-Board (FOB). All duties and import taxes which may apply to the Survey Materials are the sole responsibility of the Customer and cannot be waived by IQMH. Any Products with hazardous materials may also require special permits and additional charges, taxes and duties may apply. IQMH reserves the right to amend its Quotation at any time and from time to time due to any changes in applicable taxes, including import taxes and duties, or such other charges. While IQMH will, using reasonable commercial means, ensure that Product shipments reach their destination in a timely and efficient manner, IQMH cannot guarantee nor warrants the delivery of the Survey Materials when due and shall not be held responsible for any delay in delivery, including any delay caused by the Customer in providing the applicable import permits and documentation. The Customer is advised to consult local authorities to determine if any permits or other documentation is/are required prior to confirming enrolment.
Import Permits. 1) In order to minimize special importation, Bidders should, where possible, have recourse to local suppliers and/or manufacturers 2) Bidders must state whether their bid is dependent upon the issue of a special import permit or whether they are able to supply the goods by making use of the import facilities available to them. 3) In the event of a Bid being dependent upon the issue of a special import permit, application for such special import permit shall be made by the Bidder, unless otherwise provided in the Special Conditions of Contract.
